Currely doing the same, I usually go sniper hunting on the edge of the map. Find the one who are unaware you are there and go for head shots at point blank range to get a 4-5 hit kill. Use the sniper class, with the spotting flare to shoot in the snipers general direction,
but dont make it land near them so you give away your position.
Play on hardcore mode and pick off wounded enemies with the Kolibri.
OR
On normal mode, use a sniper rifle (e.g. Martini Henry), get one shot off, and finish with the Kolibri.
2 ideas for unlocking Kolibri are:
1) Looking for dedicated server, for example if you are a PS4 player every Sundays there are some fun games with particular rules and often one of them is only Kolibri (this sunday too) https://www.sillysundays.co.uk/
2) use the anti tank mines, if you put on the ground the mines and kill shooting on them with the Kolibri the game will assign the kill with the Kolibri (I had blow up a Bemoth in this way)

Infantry sniper shot then unload with the kolibri or just sneaking up on a camper and shooting him 4 times in the head are the easiest legit ways to get 100 kills.
The Silly Sunday events the GAWA platoon hold every sunday usually have a kolibri only round thrown into the mix too.
One sniper bullet and finish with kolibri, or shoot speedly the head of lying down players 🙂.
Good spot is ballrom blitz balcon camp in stairs shoot with sniper finish with kolibri !

Generally, when I worked to 500 Kolibri kills, I've used two approaches:
1) Finishing off Scout rifle hits with it - preferably while using G.95 (as it does 90 damage up close). Martini-Henry and Vetterli-Vitali work okay too, although Martini is risky - if you miss, you pretty much can't defend yourself.
2) Setting dynamite/AT mines off. From point blank, it takes 2 Kolibri shots to destroy dynamite and 12 to destroy AT mines. The most reliable way is to place explosives around the chokepoint (but out of sight) and damage them enough to make them blow up from next Kolibri bullet (which means 1 hit on dynamite or 11 on mines). Then you wait. As soon as someone shows up next to explosives, fire at damaged AT mine/dynamite - any kills you get will count as Kolibri kills.
