How to remove packet loss icons?

It is extremely irritating during gameplay. Please don't tell me "fix your connection" because I don't feel any problems except that damned icon flashing on the screen.

  • The icon is there as it's detecting an issue so the only thing we can suggest is the troubleshooting steps that we have to try to help out and find a way to solve it. @Executier

  • I've found out on the other forum that EA deleted an option to remove that icon. I'd like to say that this is the dumb idea. I have small packet loss, my internet is not perfect but it is good enough to be smooth and yet I have to watch that icon for half of a playtime. Just restore that option is it so bloody hard?

As it stands currently we don't have any plans to restore this function in Battlefield V @Executier it's there to help out in case you have an issue with the network or the server.  There are steps that I have pointed out above that you can try to help out the problem, so you don't see the icons anymore. 😉

  • There’s no way you can remove the icon themselves, but you can TRY to remove what’s causing them; restart your router, PC, and this one could be a big issue, find servers for your region. You could end up on an EU server when you’re American which ruins latency and packet loss
