I bought Battlefield 1 on Steam, can’t launch through EA App

Question

I have just bought Battlefield 1 on Steam as it is on winter sale. I installed the Battlefield 1 via EA app yet I couldn’t launch it as in the image. I play on a net-cafe, the owner told me that I need to buy it on the EA app but that would just be frustrating.

- I did try to reinstall the app or even delete steam in the system, but it just wouldn’t work

@w3m6xq3n3rto the Steam purchase also added it to your EA app since you have your account there too

you shouldn't have both versions installed, just uninstall all instances of the game and only install through Steam, it should work

@w3m6xq3n3rto  After you uninstall the EA App version of the game be sure to clear your EA App cache. Then install the game on Steam.
