I got a Battlefield 2 DVD and want add BF2 to my EA app Library

I got a Battlefield 2 CD with instructions, but I don't have a CD drive. I hope to add it to my EA App. Can somebody tell me how to add it into my EA app or Steam library?  I played a pirated version...

    Hello PingZiYu​,

    Unfortunately it's not possible to add Battlefield 2 to the EA app or any other application. This has been the case for almost 10 years.

I think I got this working by first getting the code from the manual in the box with the DVD(you have this still yes)?
Then once that is entered into the EA App via I think your profile icon in the top right, it MIGHT work.
If the code doesn't work, you will struggle to get this working though.
