Ok, thanks for that, play on any other mode and report back.Note to every one: The no sound bug, the 4 squares on the screen, the problems that some GTX 780 Ti users having with FPS, the new crashes and other errors and problems have been sent to DICE for investigation and they are working on them. This is not only you. I have the same problem after today's update. I hear the background music and a few sounds only (e.g. grenades), but not e.g. gun fire and similar. I met several other players online that had the exact same problem.Hoping for a quick fix. That's very problematic. Everything worked perfectly before today.

Support Team, EA and DICE,Please give us an update. It has been about a week since this issue has been reported and all players have received was a "we are aware of the issue". I think players deserve a little more information at this point. EA / DICE PLEASE TELL US!-What is EA's brief summary of the reported issue? (This is so similar issues are not misreported in the same thread and so players understand that EA understands the problem) -What feedback does EA need from the players? (Does EA need more information from the players?)-What configurations does EA believe is affected by the reported problem? (This is so players with other configurations can reported the issue so EA can widen the scope of affected systems)-What does EA believe is causing this issue? (This is so EA can demonstrate to players that it has a technical understanding of the underlying issue)-What is the severity level? (How many players are affected and how high of a priority is this for EA?)-What fixes will need to be required to fix this issue? (Is this a server patch, player patch or infrastructure fix?)-What controls will be in place to prevent a similar event from occurring? (Show the players EA is learning from their mistakes and not just going to repeat them. Everyone makes mistakes, intelligent people learn from them)-When is this expected to be resolved or another official update/response to be given? (Updates with no progress on an issue are better than no update at all)Player Appreciation month will NOT make players forgive EA for past poor gaming experiences. Problem sound and game crash

Seems like the sound issues are on every platform. Don't expect a fix anytime soon.

I have the Xbox 360. After update 6 on Jan 30 I lost all sound except for a little bit of music at the beginning and end of games. This is your worst regression yet since it really does make the game unplayable. I can bring back the sound temporarily by deleting the game from my hard drive and reinstalling. However this only works until you quit the game. Then I lose the sound again and have to do the install uninstall reinstall shuffle again. Needless to say I'm spending all of my time uninstalling and reinstalling and not playing. Clearing cache does no good. Fiddling with the settings on the sound menu does no good. Uninstalling / reinstalling is the only thing that works and it only works once. Is there a way to uninstall the update? The few things it fixed are not worth what it broke.

On Xbox One I have stayed in the same server for several matches, but the sound never returns. It still just keeps playing the end game/menu screen music and only certain sounds come through that I mentioned in an earlier post. This being grenade explosions when close by, set radio beacons, and proximity scanners. Hope this issue is resolved soon!!!

Hi there,
It happend to me today.
Once ingame, I hear the music from when your waiting for the multiplayer game to load, where it displays pictures of the map and the name.
I am on Xbox One

xbox 360. When joining the first server after joining the game. when the map is loading the game starts playing the music that comes in when the match is about to end. Than during the whole match. It keeps repeating over and over until the game is over. Than when the second map starts ( on the same server ) the sound goes back to normal.
