Please make sure to refresh the server page with F5. Sometimes server owners use Seeding Tools. I would recommend to spectate the progress of the match in the Live Scoreboard and if you are sure that there are active players I would join.

Yes, @snowcone1501, what @sHoWt1mE said is correct.  Just because a couple people are on the server, doesn't mean that it is active.  Alot of platoons have a few members sit in the server all day to seed it, which is getting it active for people to join more readily.  Just look at the scoreboard and if every player is at 0-0-0 (kills-deaths-score), then they are just seeders.  Also, if you are joining and there is noboody there, that is because the server is dead, you need to pay attention on the browser and it will say how many people are currently in the server.  Battlefield 3 is not as popular as it used to be and finding a good/active DOM server is difficult sometimes.  I know from personal experience as BF3 DOM is my favorite thing to play.  The best time to find active servers is around mid afternoon in the US because alot of European players tend to play at nighttime there, which is around mid afternoon for us in the US.  However, when it gets really late in the EU, the servers tend to die and it is difficult to find any active ones.  If you would like, I can also give you a few links to my own favorite BF3 DOM servers so you can find them more easily and check up on them.  Let me know and I will post some links for you.
