Solved

just bought the game but now banned?

i just bought this game two weeks ago. my graphics card was too low so i bought a new one even though it said it was part of the approved card list. later my hard drive seemed to be having some difficulties so i reimaged my computer and everything seemed to be normal. i performed some windows hdd tool test and analyzed the hdd. everything seemed to be ok. 3 days ago my friend gave me a dell xps 720 h2c. two days ago i had it up and running. last night i was playing, then today i logged into a server and kept getting kicked out of all the servers. the message was saying a guid kicked for 2 minutes or 5 minutes depending on what server i joined. i also downloaded the latest DLC. last night was the first time i played any of the dlc. is there a driver i need to install? is that why i keep getting kicked out? below are my system specs

win7 64 bit

intel core 2 extreme cpu q6850 @ 30. ghz

4 gb ram

1 hdd of 297gb

1hdd of 465gb

dual nvidia geforce 8800 ultra in SLI

i dont know why i continue to get the same error. the only application i have installed since getting this computer is origin, battlefield 3, adobe flash, java, itunes, and steam. i have not installed any games from steam yet.

  • Hi chefismyname,

First off, please note that the majority of users here on Answer HQ are "normal" users, like yourself, helping eachother. In this case, while frozusa was giving you a correct answer, he does not have access to EA internal systems or support cases. Please keep this in mind.

You can identify official EA employees by:

    - Their name in bold font

    - The extra EA logo in front of their name

    - EA Admin or EA <Studio name> avatar

    - Community Manager or EA <Studio name> title

Back to topic: As it was already stated, you were banned by Punkbuster for using some form of Aimbot. If you want to appeal against this ban, then please appeal here: http://www.pbbans.com/appeal_ban.php

There is nothing EA can do for you in this situation. You will need to solve this with PBBans/Evenbalance as they are the ones responsible for your ban.

    Thank you.
