@CarbonicThe thing to do is to make low ping locked servers. Easy fix.

I don't believe ping is the main reason.

The problem is that takes quite a while after you die to see the person, no matter the ping, and while ping makes it worse it's hardly the main issue with lets say 100ms extra delay.

I see the possible solutions as either:

    • Removing the screen showing you who killed you so people don't falsely think the position they are shown is the same as the position you were killed from.
    • Making the game record how you died and showing you that instead of the realtime showing of the player that is there now

Considering what stage we are in BF1's lifecycle I only think the first solution is even remotely possible.

  • Once again I was killed through a hill by a player with 100+ PING. Gotta love those ground penetrating rounds.

Hey @Adman_Tor What was your ping at the time and did you have any network issue?

Players can move quite long distances between them firing a shot on their monitor and for you to see their location on yours.

In short, he could probably see you and then moved away very fast. That would be the case for 99,9% of the people reporting this probably. It's hard for people or EA to do a lot about it on here unless we have a video of it or something.
