Legacy Operations DLC & Holiday Update Rolling Out

We are pleased to announce that the Battlefield 4 Legacy Operations DLC and Holiday Update will start rolling out tomorrow morning. You can expect a slew of improvements included in the Holiday Update with changes to a variety of weapons, vehicles, classes, team/objective play, and much more.

As previously announced, the Battlefield 4 Legacy Operations DLC will be a separate download from the Holiday Update. The Legacy Operations DLC will include a new map, Dragon Valley 2015. The Holiday Update will be automatically deployed to your platform on Tuesday, December 15th across all platforms with the following downtimes:
• PC: Multiplayer will be offline for 1h starting 08.00 UTC / 12.00 AM PT Dec 15th.
• PS4: Multiplayer will be offline for 1h starting 09.00 UTC / 1.00 AM PT.
• Xbox One: Multiplayer will be offline for 1h starting 10.00 UTC / 2.00 AM PT.
• PS3: Multiplayer will be offline for 1h starting 11.00 UTC / 03.00 AM PT.
• Xbox 360: Multiplayer will be offline for 1h starting 12.00 UTC / 4.00 AM PT.

The Legacy Operations DLC will be available for manual download from your respective platform game store according to the following schedule:
• PC at 12.00 UTC / 4.00 AM PT on December 15.
• Xbox One at 13.00 UTC / 5.00 AM PT on December 15.
• PS4 for NA & Asia at 23.00 UTC / 3.00 PM PT on December 15.
• PS4 for JP at 05.00 UTC on December 16/ 9.00 PM PT on December 15.
• PS4 for EU at 14.00 UTC / 6.00 AM PT on December 15.

Please note: Legacy Operations is not available for PS3 or Xbox 360.

Patch notes will be posted here [battlelog.battlefield.com]once the Holiday Update is live. Be sure to check back once maintenance is complete.

I got the update. .however, when I attempt to play the Dragon Valley map, I get a message that I need the Legacy Operations DLC and then over to the store where I don't see it. Where can I get this separate download? It doesn't seem to show up on EA's web site at this point.

Hey Skullsonic,
If you are on PC here is the link from the origin store to download the map.

If you are on console search for 'Legacy' in the PS4 store or in the Xbox marketplace. It will immediatly show up.

PSN store usually updated after 5-7PM Eastern time so keep checking back.

Why is there 10 hours between when Xbox One gets the new map and when the PS4 gets the map??

Tried downloading it 4 times now FFS! It says Finalizing Installation, then Download Failed always at 2.52GB / 2.90GB.
I've run Origin as admin, tried the logout and login again, I've even tried the Admin account on my PC too. Nothing works!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried going to the Origin website? It won't work through the Origin program on your PC. You need to go to Origin.com and then the store. Look for the Battlefield 4, legacy operations expansion pack. Right click and download that. It will install the expansion pack and you should be all set. The expansion pack does not come with the game upgrade that you right click on the BF4 game icon in the "My Games" view. It is a bit confusing and I always seem to forget this. Same thing happened when Operation Outbreak was released this past summer. I forgot I needed to take that extra step and go to the Origin website itself to download and install the expansion pack. I tried all of theese tips, but it doesn't work.
It all installed and all that, but on the website, it says i need BF4 legact and Extensions.
Yet it says it's installed, and if i click "check for updates" and "repair" it installs again and says it's done.

Because Sony and Microsoft update their respective store fronts at different times.
