Lmg 08/18 Assignment Not Working

I purchased turning tides and apocalypse dlc yesterday with the hopes of unlocking the new weapons. The only problem is that the lmg 08/18 low weight assignment is not functioning at all. Every kill I get as support it doesn't count towards unlocking the new gun. So what is the problem here?

    @Comrad18

    Ahh okay, I saw you only mentioned Turning Tides in your first post.

    Did you go to the PS Store and make sure that you have both expansions installed?

    If they are installed, try uninstalling and reinstalling the DLCs separately. 

    Also, try Restoring your Licenses in your PS4 settings by going to Account Management, then Restore Licenses. After this, do a fresh restart on your PS4.

    Hopefully one of these steps works out for you.

    @Comrad18,

    My apologies.

    Since you purchased Turning Tides, this DLC does not include the LMG 08/18.

    That weapon is from the Apocalypse DLC, hence why your kills as Support are not counting towards this assignment.

    Once you purchase the Apocalypse DLC, the assignment will start counting for you.
