I don't know what DICE has done to the sniping since the beta, and I didn't find those 800m headshots that easy as you seemed to do. I did however think that with the rangefinder etc. that the sniping was more realistic.
Not that BF ever has been realistic, as it is a computer game a buttload of compromises have to be made for the game to actually be fun.
