Lost Connection to EA online servers in Xbox 360 Games

Since Tuesday June 13, 2024, I along with a few other people that I have spoken with have been unable to play multiplayer in Battlefield Hardline (Xbox 360), Battlefield 4 (Xbox 360), and Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare (Xbox 360). Anytime the game tries to connect we receive an error saying that "connection to the EA online servers has been lost". Others that have spoken to have been able to login, but the majority have not been able to. With the services coming to an end in November for the Battlefield game and the fact that we will lose the option to rent a server to play on in July, It would be great if this could be address quickly by the Support Team.

Guys it worked for me, all I did was disable the two steps factor on my EA account, then I logged into the game and it worked.

  • Hello, My issue is that anytime I try to load the multiplayer on Battlefield Hardline (xbox 360) I get prompted with this message: The connection with EA Online was lost.

    I have tried:

    1. Wired/unwired connection( My internet is not the problem)

    2. Clearing the system cache (didn't work)

    3. I tried on a second account (it worked but I want to play with my main account, that's where I confirmed there was an issue with my main account)

    4. Deleting the game and reinstalling.

    5. Unlinking My Ea account and linking it again (didn't work)

    6. Tried on 3 different xbox (same issue, getting the same message)

Would like to know how to resolve the issue as quick as possible before the servers close for good🙂

  • If you disconnect your EA account we will lose online progress on all EA games, for me it would be impossible, I have many Xbox One games with progress.

  • I’m also having the same issue connecting to Battlefield Hardline for Xbox 360. I’ve tried 2 different consoles and same issue on both. However my other account can connect just fine.

Agreed, turning off 2 step is the solution. Not the greatest for security but you can at least play now. Hopefully the can fix the 2 step issue.

  • Same here. The issue was with 2FA. Disabling it solved the problem and now I can go back to finish BF4 in X360 once for all!
