missing ping

My ping is missing and i don't know what else to do!

I keep getting kicked from servers cause my ping won't show up! Is really hard to find a server to play like this and it's getting really annoying!

I'm from Brazil, already tried to do the port forwarding, my pc is connected directly to my modem and my antivirus is Avast. This problem started out of nowhere about 3 or 4 months ago.

My modem is a HG100R - L4 and my provider is called Net Virtua.

I would be really happy if this problem could get solved, cause i can't enjoy the game that i paid for anymore.

    It's still not working = /

Ok.  Next try logging out of Battlelog and Exit from Origin by clicking Origin in top left corner and selecting "Exit".  Then on your desktop icon for Origin, right-click and "Run As Admin".  When Origin opens, double-click Battlefield 4 and it will log you into Battlelog.  See if that fixes the issue.

I use Chrome, but i also tried Firefox with plugins on, still doesn't work. I don't think the problem is with the browser cause the ping doesn't show in game either

ICMP? What is this? I'm not at my computer right now, just want to make sure that when i get home i'll know what to do

  • @recmjr ICMP is the protocol used to measure latency by "pinging" the server/client with ICMP echo requests. How you allow it depends on what firewall your using. You may also have to allow it in your router configuration. If your using the windows firewall you should be able to allow it by starting a command prompt as admin (right click>Run as administrator) and typing netsh firewall set icmpsetting 8 enable then hit enter. I know that command works on Windows 7, it should work on other versions but I haven't tested it.
