This is a BS "solution". Daemon tools isn't "interfering with your game files". It's a simple disc image mounting software that happens to be running so that you can right click on a backup disc image and mount it. I've also been using it for decades with no issues until now. Soon you won't be able to run any useful programs on PC without Javelin flagging them as a potential cheat.
Pure guess as I don't know for definite, but I don't think it's outside the realms of possibility that Daemon Tools might have been added since it can be used to play cracked games, as well as legitimate use. Assuming they haven't stopped that over the years that I haven't been a PC gamer, of course.

I don't think that's a great comparison as one is software specifically for mounting disc images and the other is an operating system. Anyways, I was incorrect because it turns out it's been blocked due to Disc Soft not taking action against cheat-like scripts in reWASD:
