I need mortar kills to try and get the Parabellum gun, but it needs 20 mortar kills before I can have that gun unlocked. In the past I've gathered 2 mortar kills, probably by accident or whatever lu...

Some luck definately is involved
Changed type of mortar to HE (High Explosive),
chose map Suez
in Operations mode, part of attacking team
try two shots, and both of them was a kill, just like that
In Monte Grappa, part of definding team in Operations,
lots of eneniems walking around, zero kills in 15 shots
What is also weird is that I cannot pick up the mortar again
It says the key is whitespace, but that is not valid
There's some bugs in BF1, one of them is the fact that if you change some keys, the displayed help information is not following that and shows the default key
So, the only way I cannot loose the mortar (left behind if you don't pick it up), is to use all mortars (5) and then run away
- @Lo1snake I'd check the HE mortars are counting towards the weapon objective. It's a while since I did this but I remember air burst being needed. Hope I'm wrong though.
Hmm, no indeed, only airburst mortar kills count for that objective.
Is the Parabellum actually worth it ? So I heard that would be the best gun for taking down planes.
