Mouse and keyboard don't work in the game- battlefield 4

I can not play the game. The mouse and keyboard is not working in the game. When it starts, I can see my mouse icon but can't click on anything, and keyboard doesn't respond to any command, except A...

Hey guys. If you have a controller plugged in, unplug it. I had a 360 controller plugged in and I guess the stick is a bit messed up... unplugged it and I can use the mouse now.

    Yeah, it was the controller for me. I knocked it over and it was sitting upside down on the joystick.
