Need help

I am an Asian player, but due to frequent DDOS attacks on the BF1 Asian servers, the gameplay experience is terrible. Therefore, I have to play on the EU servers. I also purchased a network accelerator for this, but my ping still remains between 130-150ms.

One day, my account was banned for 'Game Enhancement,' which completely baffled me. During the exact timeframe of the ban stated in the email, I was not even at home and hadn't turned on my computer.

I would like to ask: is high ping considered a form of cheating now? I submitted an appeal explaining the situation again, ten days ago, but I have not received any response from EA so far.

  • Hi X-TheLancer-X,

Sorry to hear your Battlefield 1 account was banned, especially when you believe the action was applied during a time when you weren’t using the account.

High ping by itself isn’t something we can use from the forums to determine why an account action was issued. We also can’t confirm whether your network accelerator, connection conditions, or any other software was related to the penalty.

Since you’ve already submitted an appeal, please check its status through the Penalty History tool and keep an eye on the email address registered to your EA Account:

Check and appeal EA Account locks, bans, and suspensions

Appeals are reviewed by the support team, who will re-evaluate the original action along with any additional information you included. Unfortunately, we can’t view the evidence, speed up the review, or escalate an individual appeal from the forums.

Since you mentioned that you weren’t using the account during the timeframe in question, it would also be a good idea to secure the account in case someone else accessed it:

What to do if your EA Account was hacked

Please change the passwords for both your EA Account and its connected email address, then enable two-factor authentication if you haven’t already.

I hope the review is completed soon and that you receive a clear update from the team.
