no scan UAV available in commander on android

I have no scan UAV available in commander mode on android.  Had it until today and it is available while playing on my ps4.  Also the emp UAV is not stopping cruise missiles. I uninstalled and reinstalled and a restart to no avail. What gives?

    Having this issue and I am on an iPad 2. Did not have this issue when the app first launched. One of the app updates must have screwed something up.

    It seems that some other commanders don't have this issue since I see that they have two separate circles appear on the map, a non shaded circle for their scan uav and a shaded for their emp uav.

    I have the same issue on an iPad 4th generation. I see a 2nd generation user reports issue as well. I'm guessing we might be in for a few of these bugs; Why else would we get player appreciation month?

    I am having the same issues on Galaxy tab 3. No response from EA here or over the phone. BF4 is a continuous failure!

    I have used the app on an Ipad mini and it worked fine there. But on my nexus 7 the scan uav won't work and objective icons don't appear

    The problem is with all mobile devices. EA has replied in other threads, supposedly the fix to the commander app will happen early next week. My problem is they released this huge update that fixed some problems, but introduced new problems, on console/PC, and obviously the commander app
