No sound when using windows high definition audio device drivers

I fixed my last issue with the game having no sound by getting realtek drivers. But realtek drivers are terrible. they crackle, and turn the volume up so high or so low at random. Anysound coming from my laptop is ear *. So now I reverted back to windows high def audio device drivers and no sound on battlefield 1. Everything else has sounds.

  • Try this steps:

    - Uninstall the Nahimic software and the realtek and other audio drivers, restart PC.

    - download and install as Admin latest realtek audio driver for u OS, restart PC.

    - download and install as Admin latest Nahimic, restart PC.

    - before run game disable Nahimic Sound Tracker or/and turn OFF Nahimic effects or just exit/close Nahimic software.

    - Run Origin as Admin, run game.

    - Also u haven't latest Nvidia drivers, update it

    - Also if it is ur model of notebook u may need to upgrade bios for it.

You ever fix this? i have the same issue, and i end up having to change drivers between games. And i have to play bf1 with * sound or through hdmi

  • have the same issue, it should be raised from Nahimic 2+, u have to quit it completely( disable didn't work), before game have sound issue with that software). so this is the solution right now

no reinstall needed, nor admin installation( in general) or start origin needed, just quit the nahimic2+ before game with sound issue

  • Hi guyz,

Didn't realize how much I've been enjoying this game till the sound just vanished.

I've looked and searched everywhere for a cause,

and did everything recommended to the guyz before me with the same problem.

    Such as:

    1. reinstall the sound driver

    2. delete the PROFSAVE_profile

    3. reinstalled battlefield1 (painful 8hr download..)

    4. flash my BIOS

    5. disable origin ingame thingy...

    6. change the settings of the game in graphics and audio options

... and other things that eludes me at this moment

    BUT ALL FOR NOTHING...

    DIDN'T WORK.

Struggled for about a week with this, but to no avail.

Then I was about to delete Skype from windows by typing "add or remove programs" in windows (after pressing the windows key)

and from there I saw on this list of installed programs this Nahimic sound program that came with the x470 MOMO from MSI gaming pro carbon.

I've already tried disabling this feature from within the nahimic program,

but then I thought, I don't even use this, why not delete it?

I've deleted the two versions of it (Nahimic something, Nahimic VR something... sorry. don't remember the exact name, since I didn't expect this to work either, and wasn't keeping pinpoint-exact track of everything)

    along with Skype.

Then it suddenly, there was sound!

    AH, the JOY!

hope this works for anyone who has the same problem as me.

    Cheers!
