Not all servers or rented server shown in server browser

Battlefield 4 PS4 not all servers are shown in the server browser

I am having an issue where the server browser does not show all servers. The only search filter I have is the region Oceania. My rented server does not show up in Battlelog either. 

Is there a fix for this issue?

    Hey all,

    An update on the the Rental Server program for which we've now ended in-game support.

    It’s always a hard decision to end in-game support for one of our games. To provide in-game support we need to develop, upgrade, and maintain special tools over the life-cycle of a game. At a certain point, those tools are needed less and less often, either because the game teams have worked to eliminate the problem we needed the tools for, or because the playerbase for the game has dwindled. That’s when we look at ending in-game support. We will always help with game codes, account issues, and technical problems, but it makes more sense for us to develop new tools for our upcoming games than to continue to invest in offering full support for games that no longer need it.

    That is just the std guidance for how to search and find a server through the server browser.  But that does not resolve this feature/bug that EA introduced now more than 2 years ago, and makes any server that goes empty for players completely disappear from the environment.  You can search for it ok, but it will not be found.

    And the server will also disappear from all player's favorites list.

    Only an admin can start up the server again.  When one player/admin is back into the server again, then it will again be searchable for other players and it will also appear again on player's server favorites list.

    It is a terrible 'bug' and its really seriously bad that EA contemplated to add such negative feature into the server hosting envoronment.  And, left it there despite the huge backlash from the BF4 community...!

    EA short term profit margins appear to have gotten the priority over Customer Experience and Player Satisfaction...  ☹️

    ea maybe you should still care about us older console players to bring back support no wonder the games dwindling you jerks would rather focus on newer titles than care for us players that still play the old games mostly all the players ive seen on bf5 and bf1 on newer systems are coming back to the older titles if you really truthfully care about your players then you will bring back support that will make everyone happy we dont care what you guys want to work on we want our voices to be heard and we want you to bring support for the renting servers and in game purchases if your not gonna continue support then why still take our money from us buying in game purchases fix your views ea not your tools
