try to reinstall or restart pc
- ApprovedAnonymous12 years ago
I would run Origin's own Recovery Utility first. If that is not enough, you will need the official tech support from EA Help, here:

I did both of those, it's not working.
I have re-installed, cleared AppData and restarted my PC.
Nothing.
Server problem or glitchy update?

Has to be a glitch from the latest update. i turned off my internet and turned it back on while i had origin opened and it refreshed but still showed online login unavailable.

So I tried every single thing I could think of. Then I came across this thread that said origin will check your computers connection before actually checking its connection to its servers. So I thought him ill just run a windows connectivity test and it said I was having issues connecting to a port. So I exhausted a couple more ideas until I found one that worked. Go into internet explorer and follow these steps.
Under tools>internet options>advanced>reset .
Did this Then boom origin worked. Hope it works for you 🙂

I had this problem and the solution is very simple, you have to shutdown your PC ( Restart won't work ) and that's it
magically it works with me every time I have this problem :D - ApprovedAnonymous12 years ago
I too had this problem when the Origin window opened asking for Email or Origin ID and Password.
Then above it was displayed ' Online login is currently unavailable ' Running Win 8 and was able to
clear the login issue by going to settings > Control panel> Internet Options > Advanced > Reset
button at the bottom. Then I tried Origin, and the error was not there, and I was able to login.
I had tried before - Loggin off, and even powering down - removing power, and booting up. -
These did not work, only the above steps worked. ( I had no problem with other PC using Vista).
