QT is QuickTime which is from Apple and part of the iTunes package.
You only need QT if you play .mov files, otherwise it can be uninstalled.
Webkit is part of the QT software development kit (SDK) for programmers, app makers etc.

8 years agoQT in this context is not actually QuickTime, but the open source Qt framework, used by many applications and vital to some applications, notably those on Linux (but it's used on Windows too.) It is most likely used to render the HUDs and server browsers.
