Origin updated and now BF3 is not in my game list and when I try and launch it it asked me to activate it with a key...
I've been playing BF3 for awhile now (a few weeks). I grabbed the basic version from origin (digital download) when it was on sale and have been enjoying it, however, tonight I go to fire it up and when origin loaded there was an update to apply. So I applied it and when it went to launch BF3 it asked for my key and said the game had to be activated... I, however, can't see the key because apparently it's not in my games listing anymore and I have no idea where to find the product code without being able to see it in that tab. HELP! please!

In this case, I would recommend to make a new installation of your Origin client.
Go to www.origin.com/download, download and install the latest version of Origin (and make sure you have your Origin account ready as well).
Make BF3 folder writable and run Origin.exe as administrator.
If you still have this issue, you may need to make a clean de-installation of Origin and all connected registry files.
To manually uninstall Origin, you will need to edit your system registry and remove the folders in a two-part process. This will remove all traces of Origin from your system.
NOTE: If you remove Origin, you will lose accessibility and playability to any downloaded games and manuals until you reinstall Origin.
Remember that editing your computer's registry or files incorrectly can severely damage your operating system. We recommend having a computer professional perform these steps. If you are confident, however, that you can edit your registry successfully, then please follow the instructions below carefully.
Remove the Origin program files:- From the Start menu, select Computer.
- Select the hard drive; by default, Origin is installed on the C: drive.
- Select the Program Files folder; on 64bit systems, this will be called Program Files (x86).
- Right-click the Origin folder and select Delete.
Backup the Windows registry:
- Hold down the Windows key and press R.
- At the Run command, type regedit and select OK.
- Select File, then Export.
- Under Export Range, select All.
- Choose a location and name for the backup file, then select Save.
Remove the Origin registry keys:
- Expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE folder.
- Expand the SOFTWARE folder.
On 64bit systems, expand the Wow6432node folder. - Right-click the Origin folder and select Delete.
- Expand the Microsoft folder.
- Expand the Windows folder.
- Expand the CurrentVersion folder.
- Expand the Uninstall folder.
- Right-click the Origin folder and select Delete.
Remove the Origin program cache:
- From the Start menu, select Computer.
- Select the C: drive.
- Select the ProgramData folder. If this folder does not appear, press Alt, select Tools, then Folder Options. Select the View tab, then check Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
- Right-click the Origin folder and select Delete.
Origin has now been completely removed from your system.
