[PC] Unusually bad Performance

Hello,

my Problem as said above is my unusually bad performance ingame.

I bought this game after watching a video of someone playing that had very similar specs to my PC and it led me to believe that my PC could (should?) run it well. (he had the game at 1080p on ultra)

After watching the video I thought that I should get at least 60FPS and more on Medium at 1080p but as it stands I barely reach 45FPS when playing on "normal" sized Maps (Siege of Shanhai, Dawnbreaker, etc) with many Drops (as low as 10FPS and lower) and even lower FPS during the match. And that is with all the settings on the lowest at 1080p. On the bigger maps like Golmud it is even worse.

So far I tried:

  • turning the graphics to their very lowest while maintaining 1080p > still bad
  • lowering the resolution to 1366x768p with the settings at medium > still bad
  • while at 1366x768p lowering the graphics to their lowest > bad

What I am wondering now is, if this is normal and my PC is just that sh*tty, or is this unexpected and if yes, is there something I can do about it?

My specs are:

  • AMD Athlon X4 845
  • GTX 750 Ti (2GB)
  • 8 GB DDR3 RAM (2x4GB)
  • ASUS A68HM-PLUS Motherboard
  • Win10 Education 64bit

Currently I have the newest NVidia Driver installed (as of 2018-12-03).

Hey, @maxXxlo, the spec for the PC is not the best but you are above the Minimum System Requirements for Battlefield so It should work for you.

Lets try a few steps to see if there make sure that all drivers for windows and your gpu drivers are up to date.

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Battlefield V and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

Try running a CCleaner to remove old temp files and cache.

Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂
