Performance issue with Battlemap on 2nd Monitor

Love using battlemap on my 2nd monitor. Problem I am having though is performance is so bad that it makes using the map useless. The battlemap updates so slow. Very choppy. Is this normal? What can I do to improve performance?

Running Chrome in Win 8
