Petition to EA. Protect your players.
We, the Russian-speaking community of players of Batllefield 3, would like to appeal to companies Electronic Arts and Electronic Arts Russia to support us in the conflict has arisen with the company Even Balance, which was caused by the massive blocking of our game accounts.
Mass termination of access to the servers of Battlefield 3, which is published by Electronic Arts began June 6, 2014. The reason for ban in all cases is a violation #130844. Since the beginning of bans, until after writing a petition, by our estimates, several thousands of players are faced to the problem, most of them are from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and other CIS countries. Similar waves of mass blocking occurred in the past. For example, in January and April of this year, a lot of players have lost access to the game because Bans with numbers # 130895 and # 130843.
We all honest players, never use a third party software to get a competitive advantage. Among us there are premium accounts holders and ordinary players, and those who received their free accounts at the beginning of June, during the campaign conducted by EA.
Even Balance, the company that developed the software PunkBuster, used to fight with players using cheats, refuses to investigate this problem, and the number of accounts fell under the restrictions continues to grow every minute.
Technical support of Electronic Arts also can not give us any help, since is not responsible for blocking. Our interests are violated, but we cannot even get full information about why our game accounts were limited.
In spite of that, we believe that EA pride and value their reputation and their players. We have no doubt that the corporation that gave us many wonderful hours spent playing in its products can protect their players from arbitrariness or failures of third parties. We hope that EA will not lose their customers and will render us full support.
Sincerely, the undersigned players of Battlefield 3.
