Hello AMD, I am one of the many that is getting a memory leak during map changes while playing Battlefield 4. I see that you have addressed DICE about this and are 'working' on it. I would like to add myself as one affected by this game-debilitating issue. I hope this letter to you could help push your development team harder into finding the issue. Whether it's your drivers or not. Hopefully this problem can move forward. Thank you, Nathan Windows 8.1 i7 920 (OC to 3.66ghz) 6970 2gb RAM 12gb system memory BF4 is running off of a SSD I've run on single and dual monitors
Yes, I know recently some users have memory leak problem during Battlefield 4, it seems that this problem is related to the game itself. I believe EA should be aware of this issue, and it seems that this issue has been resolved, possibly via a patch released by DICE. But if you still hope our driver team can do something, please keep reporting your issue to our driver team through below link:
Besides the fact that their purely blaming the game (dice), the interesting thing is the last link they sent me to. I've never seen this fix before and I am trying it today. I have 12gb of ram and I am limiting my drive to 8gb (More than enough to run the game and any other executable that's open). I'll try this and come back with what I learn.
But anways - there's another update. AMD says it's not their fault.
I don't think that will make a difference, since you're just allowing the page-file to increase automatically. It's the non-paged pool that's getting filled up.
