PS3 LAG on Battlefield 3

For the past two months I've had horrible LAG. At first i thought it was my Internet and I had a tech come to the house and fix it but he said there was nothing wrong. I have a 15Mbps connection. Then i thought it might be my PS3 and i even went as far as trading it and buying a new one (thank god to warranty) and it was not that. I've rebooted my router, I've tried playing different games online and It only lags with BF3.

If you can have any other suggestions on what it might be and what i can do, it would really be appreciated. Note: the game worked fine before and it wasn't till i did the update before armored kill that i started lagging. I have a couple other friends that are going through the same issue and have not found an answer.

Could it be that with the new update the game no longer works on my TV? Would the UPDATE make my FPS drop on my TV? im running on 720p because thats the highest it supports. It worked before but im wondering if it was the update that caused this?

When i run conection test on my PS3 i get perfect connection as well when i run them on my laptop..

What can i do? 

By the way my Ping is good. So speed and ping are not the problem

    Even though you said your ping is fine , can you post a report over here by visiting this website www.pingtest.net ..

    are you getting frequent disconnection too ?

    Nope. Just lag on every server i try.

    I don't know how technically sound you are but i can guide you some steps in order to double check the Internet connectivity ,

    while playing the game ping 4.2.2.2  or you default gateway on your PC , while pinging 4.2.2.2 your latency should be in between 220-240ms .. the moment you start facing lag check back the latency on your laptop any thing which exceeds above that limit is the internet issue ..

    although you can use tracert command to check from where the latency is getting high . 

    in consoles lag = internet connection

    Yeah im not to techy and i did get kinda lost on your last  post.

    But you want me to play and as soon as i start experiencing lag i should run a ping test?

    Yeah ... You can try it ... But in case results are not expected then I will try to guide you more thoroughly

    Same results as the ones i posted earlier.. No change.

    Exactly. I ran the ping test multiple times while on lag and it was the same results. Do you think it might be my TV? I really never heard of that being an issue because it worked fine before until the update.
