I tried to download the BF3 update on my ps3 the day it released, being 2000mb it should have only taken me 2-3 hours, but instead the time shot up to 10-15 hours. I blamed it on the fact that everyone was trying to download the update at the same time and decided to wait a few days. It's been a few days and the update still skyrockets to over 10 hours. I know that its not my internet, because I've tested my internet on both my laptop, and my PS3, both were atleast 4 megabits per second. Secondly, I managed to download the DLC End Game from the PSN store (1700mb) in a little over two hours. I'd like to know why I can't manage to download the update.

When it's about to throw out the error, the time remaining just shoots up like crazy and this has been happening for a few days now. This is what I have tried so far to troubleshoot:diconnected/diabled media servers/services and all other connected devices from my router except my ps3diabled UPnP on my router and PS3 consolecalled my sevice provider to check for errors on my internet linkused a 3G enabled router to download the updated which also failed with error "80029564"deleted the game data utilitychanged routersused a static IP address on my PS3 consoleand now I am rebuilding my database through the PS3 recovery console. If you find a solution please let me know and I will do the same!
