Punkbuster Global Ban - No help, No lift.

Hi there.

I describe my epic, which lasted a month and continues today

I found myself banned from your ... "third part service" ... Punkbuster. The anticheat we all know.
I asked why and wherefore, posting on the "Support" in the battlelog.
Unfortunately, the maturity of the community is not much, and I had to wait a few days to get a decent answer (receiving various childish insults and stuff). I had to open a ticket on the site Evenbalance.com and waiting for an answer. One day later, they answered, saying -they did not know what kind of violation was made with my GUID, they did not know when it was made, but I was banned anyway.

(I'm even not in the MBi list!)

The message I'm recieving is this:

Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster. Stated reason: PunkBuster permanent ban issued on this Game Server for player 'iMpulSe_Schimi' ... GLOBAL PunkBuster GUID BAN ...

The GUID:

9b816be9

The situation is this, for your third party service, I can not use a product  I paid for.

Can anyone help me? Can I ask the reason of this ban?

CAN I HAVE A REFUND? OR CAN EA LIFT THIS BAN?

I’ve been banned from posting on Battlelog – What do I do?
Take a break, go for a walk, play some Battlefield – it’s not a big deal. We’re not mad at you, you’re not in trouble – you just need a break. Do not post or complain about your ban. This will result in an extension of your ban. Temporary bans are not subject to appeal. If you feel that you have been long-termed banned incorrectly please contact us at help.ea.com.

Being temporarily banned from posting on Battlelog means that you have broken the rules of the forum or have not been participating in a constructive fashion. Please review the rules and guidelines as posted above. A short-term ban is our way of preventing further disruptive behavior and asking you to reexamine your behavior.

Being temporarily banned from posting on Battlelog will not prevent you from accessing your game. In extreme cases of misconduct, you will additionally be banned from playing the game.

Please review our Terms of Service
Details of the EA Terms of Service can be found here:

While the EA Terms of Service is detailed and specific (and you should read it), as long as you adhere to the guidelines written above you will be fine.

Thanks for taking part in the ever growing Battlefield community. We hope you will enjoy your stay.

PunkBuster is not an EA-made program. It is developed by Even Balance and used in many online games.

This guide will have all available information regarding troubleshooting PunkBuster issues for EA games. For more help, reach out to PunkBuster Support
You must appeal any PunkBuster Ban with Even Balance by opening a ticket by finding and clicking your game on the Support page and then clicking "Web Ticket System." EA Advisors cannot overturn PunkBuster Bans

    What games use PunkBuster?
Quite a few games run the PunkBuster services, you can find a full list on their homepage . Here are just a few EA titles:
    Battlefield 2
    Battlefield 3
    Battlefield 2142
    Battlefield: Bad Company 2
    Battlefield Heroes
    Battlefield Play4Free
    Battlefield Vietnam
    Medal of Honor
    Medal of Honor Warfighter

    Battlefield 4

    Can I play without it?
You are not required to use PunkBuster. However, you will not be able to join any server that runs PunkBuster Services. There are servers that do not use PunkBuster services, but lack of anti-cheat software can definitely degrade your gaming experience.

    How do I install PunkBuster?
Even Balance, Inc. are the developers of the anti-cheat software, PunkBuster. Working with game developers, they have created a tool to help identify cheaters in-game and remove them. Any server that runs PunkBuster enforces PunkBuster bans because no one wants to play with a cheater.

    1. Get the latest version of PunkBuster Updater HERE (Mac OSX gamers click HERE ) .

    2. Double click pbsetup.zip.

    3. Extract pbsetup.exe to somewhere on your computer.

    4. Double click pbsetup.exe (For Vista/Win7/Win8 users, right-click the file and select to run as Admin).

    5. Click on Add Game.

    6. Click on the Game drop down menu and select your title, in this case, Battlefield 3.

    7. The box Game Path should automatically complete itself, but if it doesn’t click Browse and navigate to where you installed the game and then click on Add Game.

    8. You will now see your game in the main window, click Check for Updates.

    9. A window should pop up with a progress bar and update to the newest version of PunkBuster for the game, after it has finished a notification will appear, click Ok and you are done.

    How do I update PunkBuster?
While PunkBuster is designed to update itself, there can be an error and manually updating via PBSetup is recommended.

Occasionally, you may receive various errors regarding PunkBuster Services not running. Some other software programs such as virus scanners, firewalls and Internet security software packages are suspicious of any new services and kernel drivers when they are first released. Some of these will block PunkBuster components thereby causing the "Losing Key Packets" kicking. Until these various packages are updated to correctly identify PnkBstrA.exe, PnkBstrB.exe, and PnkBstrK.sys as components of the PunkBuster Anti-Cheat System, players who experience PunkBuster kicks due to these conflicts need to either manually adjust the settings of the other software running on their system or disable the other software while playing on PunkBuster enabled servers.

Make sure PnkBstr.exe is on your exceptions list of your firewall/anti-virus software to ensure it can communicate properly with the PunkBuster servers. You can check your anti-virus/firewall software manual for instructions on adding exceptions.

Make sure all PunkBuster Services are installed and running by downloading PBSVC.EXE from Even Balance.
Save the file to your Desktop for easy access.

Double click the file and select “Run”.

    Choose “Install/Re-Install PunkBuster Service”.
This will ensure PnkBstrA.exe and PnkBstrB.exe are installed and running properly.

If you still get kicks, such as “Can’t Initialize PnkBstrB.exe”, go to the Start Menu. In the “Run/Search” bar, type “services.msc” and press Enter.

Scroll through the list and find PnkBstrA and PnkBstrB. If they are not running (Check the Status column), right click each and select “Start”.

    How do I uninstall PunkBuster?
You can remove PunkBuster for PC by going to the Control Panel – Programs & Features (Add/Remove Programs for Classic View) within Windows. If you’re having trouble auto-updating or running PBSetup.exe, it may help by removing PunkBuster from your system for a clean installation.

Click Uninstall/Change to remove PunkBuster Services from your computer. Note: You will not be able to join any matches of games that user Punkbuster until you re-install it. As with any uninstallation procedures, make sure to restart your PC to finalize any system changes.

You can also uninstall PunkBuster Services by running PBSVC.EXE and choose the “Uninstall PunkBuster Services” option

If you follow the steps above and still have issues, you may try clean-booting your PC or opening a trouble ticket at evenbalance.com

Problems with PunkBuster, FAQ on appeal.

► 1. If you've got some in the red box message when the crash / off game, for example:
    1) The game is off: you have been excluded PunkBuster. State the reason: PunkBuster kicked player 'Your nickname' (time (usually in minutes)) ... PBBansHub: Ban type
    2) It is not possible to connect: the game
    3) Play off: you have been excluded PunkBuster. State the reason: PunkBuster kicked player 'Your user name "(Time) ... Cheater has been banned "GGC-Stream.com" Ban on GUID (example: 000A00a00B00Ca000dc0000c00a000abc) Contact GGC-Stream.com for details.
it is not necessary to create / post a topic which perhaps will not help you (with the case of the ban (for example: "I'm not a cheater, I did not use them at all, etc.")).

► 2. If you do not use this "software" (cheats), then you should write to the GGC-Stream.com, if you're not sure what you really got banned then contact support EA (Tel: +7 (495) 660 53 17 Link to website: https://help.ea.com/contact-us [help.ea.com] can also write to them, but the answer did not come right away)

► 3. Should you file an appeal to lift the ban.
This action will be meaningless if: The number for which you have defined in the bank, less than # 50,000.
Example: You have all the time Punkbuster kicked from server error Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster. Stated reason: PunkBuster kicked player VIOLATION (reason) 51015 (the number of more than 50,000) ⇐ Therefore, you can file an appeal (this is a temporary ban (kick))

► You can also try obnovit PB, in some cases it solves the problem
Download and install PBSVC by downloading it here: http://www.evenbalance.com/downloads/pbsvc/pbsvc.exe [evenbalance.com]
    Open and remove the PunkBuster
This action will clear your PC from older versions of PunkBuster, who may be experiencing problems
After uninstalling the software, download and install PBSetup, which can be downloaded here: http://evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php [evenbalance.com]
Once downloaded, open PBSetup and select Add a Game and add Battlefield 3 from the available list.
After that, go to Battlelog and click Check for Updates, until you get a message that you have the latest update.
Depending on the game version of PunkBuster and it will take some time,

► 4. Your actions in the appeal.
1.) Download the text fayl.http :/ / www.pbbans.com/mbi-download-bf3-dlb41.html [pbbans.com] - a list of bans in it you need to find your nickname, you found the nick in front of him on the left see identification number (Example: 123A45a67B89Ca000dc4567c89a555abc - your GUID)
2.) Next, follow the link below http://www.pbbans.com/appeal-ban.html [pbbans.com] - on the box under "Search GUID" insert your GUID number and press the Enter key or click on "Submit "there you will find more information about the bath, just below details the ban (" "), you should see the line" These bans can only be appealed at PBBans and Even Balance will not offer support for them "under which the button Appeal This Ban

3.) You will redirect to the page of appeal, in the bottom of the page will be a small table (block) in which you have to write personal information.

Above the table (unit) Appeal Details about this information will be
    Violation information from PBBans.com:
    Ban Date: Date and time
    PBBans BanID: Your id
PBBans Ban Link: Link to pbbans.com
    GUID: A unique identification number
    Game: Battlefield 3
Violation: VIOLATION (reason) 51015 Phone ⇐

Once the table (block) click Submit Appeal to your appeal

► 5. Your next step will be to follow a link http://www.evenbalance.com/troubleticket/new_ticket.php [evenbalance.com] and read the rules \ information click on the button agreement (I Agree to the PunkBuster EULA), then you need to complete Field: In the Problem / Issue you need to insert information about your bath is an example that you can see above (beginning with Violation information),
After filling, click "Sumbit" it is located at the bottom.
► 6. In mail containing a link to your "ticket"
Now, on the page where the information written above. you will see 3 lines required.
    1) Name 2) Email 3) Reference to a "ticket" (EB Ticket URL) ⇐ insert a link here that you have mail.
6.1 In the Reason to Lift Ban (The reason for removing the ban / diluted), you need to write it in English, you can use the translator (the main thing that was clear to them that you want them to say.) Describe the reason, if you were hacked then write about it in more detail, after describing the reasons Sumbit click on the button and wait for a response.
► 7. If you do not have a link to the ticket, then you probably will not unban, and you will be able to help a new key.

  • I'm not on the MBi list, I can't even find my GUID\Nickname on bf3_pbbans.txt.

Evenbalance does just nothing. I write, they reply with this same old message:

The supplied GUID has been associated with hacking or interfering with the normal operation of our PunkBuster software and has therefore been compromised resulting in a global ban from PunkBuster enabled game servers. We have no way of knowing who was actually playing with this GUID at the time the violation was triggered. We also have no way to know if the violation was triggered on your specific computer. Our system does not collect personal information and furthermore we have no way to attach a cheat/hack violation to a specific person. This ban will not be lifted as then the person who did trigger the violation would again be able to join PunkBuster Servers using this GUID.

To be clear: we are not saying that you cheated as we have no way to know who triggered the violation. If it is certain that no one playing on your computer ever had a cheat/hack violation triggered by PunkBuster, then your GUID (cdkey and/or game account password) has been stolen by or leaked to someone who has used it on a different computer to trigger the violation. We do not have the means to help you find out who is responsible for compromising your GUID.

It's just crazy! They don't give you an actual reason!

    AIMBOT? WALLHACK? WHATEVER?

    NOPE, just "Ban!"
