The issue is still not fixed, what are you trying to achieve? Do you think that messing up with servers on a good old game will make players switch to newer games? I have BF5 and BF2042 but I don't like it and just like many other players I chose to play BF1 because it's just better. If that really is your intention, then it's just a lame move.

I believe it would be the most established lever to apply them making a move.

In all seriouness tho, EA please you are scaming large server owners like BONK, AMG or BoB on thousands and thousands of their money on server renting and still you cant do anything about it in 2 weeks.
Battlefield V and Battlefield 2042 have only one place to be the recycling bin (not to say that battlefield 1 is probally earning you more money than V and 2042 combined).
Make your workers do their freaking job god dammint its for that they are paid.
EA fix this thing fast cmon.
