Re: Battlefield 1 in game rewards not progressing

The counters show no progress. and the guns i know i have done the requirements for are not unlocking. the game will not let me unlock them at all.

How long do you think it will take for this bug to be resolved? I am having a similar issue where every time I get a kill with the Autoloading Factory for the RSC Optical assignment, it says I am at 7 out of the 15 kills required for the assignment to be complete. Also, the same issue occurs for the Lebel Sniper assignment where I know I got all 5 headshots with the Russian 1895 Sniper, but it never showed I completed the assignment. 

Hello mariostar53, Im sorry you are having trouble as well but glad im not the only one having trouble. If you know anyone else that is experiencing this, get them to comment on this. The more people speaking out will help get our problem noticed by the developers.

Hello iluminatethesky, I do not have the companion. The progress icon does pop up and have noticed that since i downloaded the first map pack, the kills etc are progressing now, but only if you check them while playing. So, at least something is happening.

you sorta answered this issue yourself:

There are weapon assignments for the first DLC: They Shall Not Pass that can only be unlocked if you have Premium or own the DLC. So it is working as intended if your counter is not working when you do not own the DLC content or Premium.

Check the pictures below - the first is a normal unlock, the second one states "They Shall Not Pass"

Well in my case, I own the DLC and the parts with getting 75 heals for the RSC Optical and the 20 Periscope Spot Assists for the Lebel Sniper I was able to get done. I was able to get up to 7 out of the 15 kills with the Autoloading Factory, but now when I get a kill with the Autoloading Factory, it doesn't say you have 8 out of the 15 kills with the Autoloading Factory. As for the Lebel Sniper, I was able to get all 5 headshots in a round with the Russian 1895 Sniper, but it didn't say I completed the assignment, when I got the 5th and final headshot, it said I was at 4 out of the 5 headshots. In other words, the game isn't registering when I get a kill with a weapon in order to complete a weapon assignment. So, what is going on that is causing this problem? (Note: this problem started on the day that Premium Trials went live. Also, I play on XBOX One and reinstalled the DLC twice.) 

OK. Then why doesn't it show in the CUSTOMIZE SOLDIER screens? I can only view the progress in game. Also, are all the reward weapons only available if you get the DLC? If so, EA should have made it it prevalent that this is the case. Personally the guns shouldn't even show up until you buy the DLC. But that is only my opinion.

I am also experiencing the same problem as mariostar53. With the auto-loading factory, I got 17 kills in one game and 16 in another but yet the progress is still at 14.kills.Any ideas on how to fix this?

This was odd when I noticed it. On Sunday when I was playing, it was about when the weekly medals rotate, my progress on the RSC Optical assignment progressed from 7 out of 15 kills to 13 out of 15 kills. But, it still doesn't register when I get a 14th or 15th kill. I don't know why progress was suddenly updated, but this problem needs to be fixed ASAP.

I was able to unlock 2 guns but then my progress halted on the rest. This bug is a weird one. I have thought about deleting the game then re-installing. But i am not sure if that would help. Any ideas?

This was never a problem for me in Battlefield 4. I think it possibly has something to do with Premium Trials being released just a couple of days after I got They Shall Not Pass.

This is my first time really playing any of the BATTLEFIELD games other than the campaign. Not having a great experience so far. I love the game but the rewards not unlocking like they are supposed to and the constantly being disconnected from the BATTLEFIELD servers. Im hoping they can get this fixed soon! If not i go back to COD.

@TroubleICU I have found the solution. All you need to do is count how many kills you need to get with the weapon in order to complete the assignment. It may not show progress, but the assignment will be completed whether the game updates your progress or the game doesn't

mariostar53 my experience is that even tho i have done the requirements it still does not unlock the weapons. I thought you was having the same problem.

I haven't attempted to try to do the 5 headshots in a round for the Lebel Sniper yet. But my theory worked for getting the Chauchet Telescopic though.
