@BastiKln7, awesome. 🙂 Hello @EA_Leeuw Leeuw, how are you? I am particularly disappointed with your lack of response to my messages and those of others. I inform you that I followed the steps you gave to solve the problem, and even so I continue with the same error without success. I tried reinstalling the game, reinstalling Origin and EA App but I still get the same error. I notice that you would not be responding to me and others, what is your problem? In addition to the fact that I pay the game at its price, do I have to put up with the lack of support to not even generate a patch as you communicated? And that the solution was also derived from the users' own research? You and all of EA are disrespectful. I demand a refund or a patch to the game. Stop lying lazy people. I'm sorry if my messages offended you, I can't stand that I've been trying to play for 1 year and you haven't solved my problem.
So after fixing the Product-Key issue with the steps above (which is great) but then i get the same message:
"you need to install or patch the game before playing"
Got that EXACT error since years and hoped it would be fixed with those steps but it didnt.
Talked even to a support member half a year ago and he coudnt helpt me. Its a Issue since 2015 and has not been fixed yet.
Here is my past post on the forum:
Thanks and have a great week
- @EA_Leeuw My problem is this: I have been doing everything I can to access the Battlefield 3 game, which I was able to play years ago, for 4 days, but there is no result. I think maybe I've made some progress. After receiving the "could not activate" error via Battlelog, I contacted EA games. We had 3 separate conversations with 3 different people and nothing I tried worked. I bought a new Battlefield 3 through Steam, but the result is the same. I tried the solution suggestions on the internet and through EA assistants and now I do not receive the same error message, but I see the Joining server text and nothing opens. I renewed all my services and tried the test method with a different Windows account that EA employees told me, but there was no result. I was going to give up, but I think I'm making progress since I don't get the could not activate message right now. Does anyone know a solution to see the Joining server text forever? (I completely deleted the game and installed it. I deleted the license folder, which is a hidden file, I downloaded Origin and entered it from there, but it still didn't work. I can actively play Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 5.
