Re: battlefield 3 limited edition lost its product key

So have you ever got a solution to the key problem? Does their support help at all? Similar problem here.

@MrDAFrey log in with the origin account under which you purchased BF3. If it asks you for a CD key even after you log in with the proper origin account launch Origin as an administrator  by right clicking the origin icon on the desktop and selecting "run as administrator" and then right click the BF3 icon in your origin games library and run a repair. That should sync everything up and solved the issue for me when I had it.

I don't have a screen shot. I got Battlefield 3 limited edition for pc but not the inner page with the product key. Just the outer cover and both disks. The program is asking for a product key to even install the program.

    Hello @MrDAFrey

In this case, you should get in touch with EA Advisors directly, however they may request a proof of purchase of this game from you. Use this link here to get in touch with them.

    Cheers,

    Archi

From your response you are not reinstalling a previously installed game from your account. It sounds as if you are trying to install from physical media, and most of the time when the CD key is missing it means that you purchased a used copy of a PC game which means that you essentially have a coaster with box art and there's nothing that EA can do.  Was this a pre-owned or used copy of the BF3 LE or a new copy? If it was a new copy and the CD key was not present I'd recommend returning it to the store and repurchasing it digitally via Origin. If you purchased a new copy and lost the CD key there is nothing that EA can do.
