Have you tried resetting your settings as mentioned in http://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Nov-15th-Fall-Update-Can-t-play-or-patch-info/td-p/5696716 ?
You might also want to check if something is blocking the newly updated game by manually adding Origin and BF1 to the Windows firewall and starting the game after a clean boot:

Indeed removing settings folder helps, but only till next start of the game. By extension we are unable to enable DX12 for example.
EA please fix this.

You might have a background application that doesn't like BF1's DX12 implementation. You should try and see if you can narrow down an application that is causing it.
i have win7 64 bit and direcxt 11
not 12
and now i update the new driver nvidia(660) and still crash when ''loading game" to desktop ...
