There is no resolution besides waiting. Today EA (together with Blizzard and many other companies) experienced a major outage caused by optic fiber infrastructure being damaged and what you're experiencing now is the aftermath. Services are coming back one after another, but stat-gathering service appears to be a separate entity from the game, which is why progression appears reset despite the game working.

All in all, I wouldn't expect that to change until it's officially confirmed that functionality has been fully restored (EA Help Twitter will be giving information about it when that happens: https://twitter.com/EAHelp). Obviously, there is no ETA on when it will happen, although based on speed of recovery so far I wouldn't expect the wait to be too long.

If your level still shows as zero after EA Help announces the all-clear, play a couple of matches after connecting via server browser. Sometimes it's needed to synchronize the stats (and thus bring them back).

Hi there, I was having this issue also after performing a PS4 system update. I contacted the EA online support as it had been over 12 hours and they were still all reset. During the chat they restored. I had joined a full server and after being in queue the game loaded and I noticed that all weapons and skins were selectable, I quit the round back to the main screen and tasks that had been completed on the medals and service assignments were also ticked off. I closed the application and restarted the game and everything thing else was able to be restored. 

While talking to the support member, he noticed that my account was out of sync and explained the process on how it restores. If you feel that the following information is useful I'd like to recommend that this possible solution be made as a sticky thread and as a help FAQ to try first, for future reference and people in the same situation. 

- Problem - 

After an update or server outage, player progress stats, achievements and unlocked items may be missing, or reset. One possible reason is your account is not in sync with EA game servers.

- Solution -

When the account becomes out of sync, the method to re-sync is to cycle your home network and play 10 complete games, so reset the router, PS4, and reconnect to the psn network. After playing 10 complete games the ea servers will be able to re-calculate all the relevant data correctly and fix anything that was missing.
