I agree.  Currently you can use the PC Battlelog interface to push loadout updates, or force your xbox to join another friends game in progress.  Why you cannot just launch commander mode in PC and place on xbox servers doesn't make sense. I mean, it's all intertwined with EA, it shouldn't be hard to have this feature!

yeah why can you input changes like loadouts from my balttlelog/laptop app to my PS3 gameplay  but you cant assume the comander role??  if i have 4 friends and they are all full in squad spots why cant i take the 5th spot by being the commander ??

You can join them as a commander via the commander app on your tablet or directly on your PS3.

Dear Dennis,

I would love to, however, on my ipad when the game does manage to find a server and it try's to connect to it, I get an error before I even join the game that I have lost a connection to the game.

tbh MAN  you can get mad at DICE. only Sony and Microsoft. its common knowledge that the platforms are on different nets :D

p.s this BF4 on 360 and ps3 are dumb down and smaller than the next gen systems and pc version.. :D
