- I just got the game the other day, I love playing campaign but this isn’t playable when my trench periscope magically becomes unequipped when I sipply pick up any item from a weapon box.
It’s a simple bug fix. Get your butts in gear and just fix it. The game seems to regard them as an item that is filling both the secondary weapon and the second gadget slot. So once something is picked up, they are dropped. You can pick them back up, and the character holds them like an active item. Then when you switch to some other item they are dropped again.

Thanks for the post, @wezzard. I hadn't thought of this until you mentioned it.
While its still a bug that needs to be fixed, at least people can use them, if they hop on a horse.
@EA_Atic - This bug has been reported numerous times in this forum. From the various posts I've seen, you say you are going to let the dev team know about it, yet I don't see any additional responses - i.e. a fix. Am I missing something?
It's still an issue, as you can see in this thread. I am experiencing it as recently as yesterday.
