Re: Can I play at an internet cafe using my Origin account without buying the game?

@reactorik Hello,

No, you won't be able to play Battlefield 1 at an Internet Cafe using your EA Account since you don't have the game on the account. Usually, Administrator of the cafe should have special guest EA/Origin Accounts or something like that which you should use to play the game there.

Conclusion is, yes, you need to buy the game itself to play online using your EA/Origin account.

    Thank you! =D

    Two more questions:

    1) I noticed there is 10 hours trial to play Battlefield 1 -- can I play its multiplayer regime without paying for subscription?

    2) Are all DLC installed along with the game? I mean, if I buy a DLC and go play in an internet cafe, should I expect to spend time downloading files?

    1. Battlefield 1 Trail is available for all users for free, only 10 hours. You don't have to pay subscription (If you mean Origin Access). But note that Battlefield 1 Trail version doesn't have any DLC for multiplayer mode. It's just a base game.
    2. Yes, DLCs will be installed along with the game, you won't have to download them separately as far as I remember. But note that these DLCs should be purchased on your EA/Origin Account.
