As I said in my original post, I tried it on battlelog and it shows the correct emblem. But it is still showing my old platoon's emblem in game and on the companion app. It still shows me as representing a platoon I am no longer a part of.
I figured it out.
I had to actually download the companion app on an ipad, cause it's not available on android...
There it had the option to select the BF1 platoon and stop representing. I can't find this option on the web companion.
It is now showing my correct emblem.
