Even without factoring in SweetFX 3rd party programs can be a problem.
Please try a Clean Boot then try launching the game again.

Good to know, thanks.
Now I'd try turning on your regular programs one by one, starting with anything that might affect input, until you can determine which program is involved in the conflict. Once you find the culprit you can just ensure that you disable this whenever you want to play, and you should be fine.
