Did this start after updating a driver for your GPU or after the spring patch without a driver update?
I was getting this error since the last update and doing two things solved this problem for me (no guarantees for anyone else). I turned off Origin in game, and I switched to the beta version of the PC origin client.
To turn off Origin in game log into Origin, in the upper left hand corner click on the word "Origin" in the menu, and then click on "Application Settings". Next go to the "Origin in game" tab and uncheck the "enable Origin in game" box.
To use the Origin beta in the upper left hand corner click on the word "Origin" in the menu, and then click on "Application Settings" and then at the bottom of the page check the box for Origin Beta participation, then completely close out origin and restart Origin.
I also updated my drivers to the latest NVIDIA drivers. Some people have reported problems with the latest Witcher 3 drivers and even the last set of GTA drivers. If you have problems with both of these you might want to go 3 versions back.
