+ when i go to Battlelog and look at assigments they are all locked.

Hey quirijnl,
Try going to your dashboard, over to settings, then to system settings, down to storage, select Battlefield 3 and search for Battlefield 3 Multiplayer Update in that list. Select it and select Download Again. Sounds like it either didn't finish or didn't get recognized. This will reauthorize it. Also, if a server is running Back to Karkand AND Close Quarters maps and you don't have Close Quarters, it will give you that error.
