Nope I could select and equip mine. Ran around with it for a few games to see if it was really there.

I still won't use them. When you saw them in BF3 it felt special to be playing with someone who was involved with the development, plus I'd always make it my goal to knife one of them! I don't want to ruin the exclusivity for BF4. I might use one of the other 8 or so that suddenly appeared as well though. to late gotcha.
