Re: EA Sign in too many redirects, cannot sign in using Chrome

Chrome and most other browsers are set up by default to hinder 'phishing' and other malware techniques by limiting the number of times a webserver you goto can redirect you to another webpage/site.  That is essentially the reason behind you get this error message and it appears that you cannot succeed to complete the EA site sign-in procedure.

For Chrome you can get more direct and manual control of this by doing the following:

Click the "Show Advanced Settings" link to display more setting options.

In the Privacy section, click "Enable Phishing and Malware Protection."

Close the browser window.

Google Chrome will now displays a warning window if the website you visit is trying to 'redirect' you.

And you can now manually accept or decline this redirect.

  • So, essentially, EA's "ad partners" are sharing our data too much fir Chrome's protective capabilities; & EA's solution is to usea less dsafew browser?!
