My TV has two enhanced HDMI ports (HDMI 2 & 3). The PS4 is connected to HDMI 2 and my Xbox One is on HDMI 3. The HDR mode for the corresponding HDMI port is set to HDR10. HDR works fully and fine for pretty much all of my other games.

It would be nice to get some actual help on this issue besides some general PS4 HDR setup page that I could find in 2 seconds on Google.

I know the issue I have.
I've searched many places for solutions to the issue.
    I couldn't find any solutions.
    I came here.
I'd like to know WHY MY EA GAMES DON'T PLAY IN HDR WHEN ALL MY OTHER GAMES DO???

    Thank you.

@Z-SHRP, I really would like to help you, but i can´t, so sorry for that ☹️

If nobody gives you an answer, then maybe we don´t know what to do.

I´ve never heard about that problem before, but I´ll ask some of my PSN friends (the ones using a PS4 Pro).

I´m using a standard PS4 and a 4K TV, it switches to HDR mode every time I start BF1.

Are you playing BF1 CTE? Does HDR work there?

Have you tried switching HDMI 2+3 just to see what happens?

Thanks for the reply, it actually does the same thing with EA games on my Xbox One S in HDMI port 3. And all my other Xbox games work with HDR too (Forza, Dead Rising, PUBG, etc.). The only thing I can think of is that it's the TV or I don't have a specific setting turned on with the TV. On the 4K TV details list on the Xbox, all of the items are checked off. And about playing BF1 CTE, I don't have Premium, so I don't know if it would work there. Other than that, maybe EA games' HDR mode is just duller than other games, a lot duller. I just don't why my EA games look better on my 1080p LED monitor than on my 4K HDR TV.

You might be right that it´s your TV which is causing this problem.

BF1 and BF1 CTE are looking great in HDR, I´ve never had problems with it.

Hopefully it will work with your TV as well 🤞

I´ve found some articles about 4K consoles and TVs, maybe there´s a setting mentioned which you could try:
