Re: how do i link my ps4 account to origin ?

The following thread includes information and instructions concerning linking, or making changes to your Gamertag/PSN ID and your EA Origin Account:

For EA games, these accounts should be linked to your https://account.origin.com/

Linking your accounts: Your Gamertag / PSN ID and Origin Account should be correctly linked when you first access an EA game online if you use the same email address for both. We recommend that you check your Origin account to ensure your emails match.

If the email address for your Gamertag / PSN / PSVita ID is different than the address for your Origin account, connect them using the steps below:
1) Open the Origin client and click the Friends button, then add a Friend. If you do not have the Origin client installed, you can download Origin for both PC and Mac here: https://www.origin.com/en-ca/download.
2) In the Import Friends menu, you can choose to "connect" your Xbox LIVE, PSN, and EA accounts. Simply sign in with your account details to connect and they will be linked.

@ChoppR_HeadshotZ You would have to contact PSN support to have them reset your email to one you know and have acess to first.

Once you do that then you will be able to link your accounts.

Clicking your link takes me to a dead webpage with nothing on it (maybe because I am in the Far East? [but can only use English]).

I have been trying for months to link my accounts; because my games need the correct account to work, as they are linked between Origin and Games for Windows Live (GFWL) which will not let me register them anymore. And it seems I provided one of my other account e-mail addresses when I forgot which one is connected when I re-installed Origin on a New HArd-drive.

Anyway; I have lost access to my Games until it works.

So I will not buy any new games until the crippling of my account/s stops.

It says "THAT ACCOUNT IS ALREADY LINKED TO A DIFFERENT ID"

But I dont know what to do.

Its tooooooo confusing. Because the help process is CLUNKY to say the Very least.

sdlkfuvsbntpoynr This seems to be the problem that started when SONY Was hacked a few years ago; and to try and get my games working on the PS3 Again and (while SONY were keeping it a secret why SONY PS3 Online was not working) we set up a few accounts to try and get our PS3 DVD games working again (with a re-install) But it seems to have got into a big horrible mess I cant get out of; due to all the linking.

I have GFWL into the mix and Steam and SONY and E.A. and around 1000 games that are all over the place with different accounts and e-mails and passwords.

    PLEASE HELP

    Edit

     P.S.

I am beginning to see why.... part of the reason is GFWL became XBox Live or something... and I connected with an e-mail I thought I used, but was one of my others I use for some games accounts elsewhere. So the link to Origin is crippled; and it seems I have to contact security, as I cant just delete the link now.

  • Your link says "PAGE ERROR 404" on the Origin site (again).

    I do have Origin Installed.

    Some games work.

Some dont; due top being linked to Games for Windows Live (which is dead?)

But I have different account names.... and want to combine them so ALL the games work via one access.

@Nice2meatYou Alright what it sounds like you need to do is unlink it from your old account and then link it to your new one. Unfortunately only EA advisors can unlink accounts so to accomplish this your going to have to contact an EA advisor at http://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/. Be sure to select your country in the top left corner. Also you should read this page about about the process and what can happen http://help.ea.com/en/article/linking-accounts-and-persona-transfers/.

I'm closing this thread to stop it being necroed.

If you have any issues with Battlefield 4 please make a new topic about the issues you are having and what kind of steps you have tried to solve it.
