Yeah this is what I'm trying to do. At least I know it's possible to do... And I'll use this answer as a proof. Thanks!
- @WatDaFrag let me know if you get it. I might try too for BF Vietnam!

may i ask you when did you redeem battlefield 2 and 2142?
an advisor answered me like this: "Marco, I have now checked and found that the game Battlefield Vietnam is already retired from all the online platforms since June 30, 2014 which means that the game team have closed the game code support as well." and sent me this link: https://www.ea.com/service-updates/a-h
this link also tells battlefield 2 was retired on june 30, 2014.. but if you requested help after that date, it means that yet another advisor was unwilling to help. - @WatDaFrag I got them after it was sunset. From my understanding of "sunset" that just means no MP. From my past experience with advisors, most were unaware or didn't want to help. Let me give you an example using 1942. It was first release in 2002 and in 2012 it was made the 10th anniversary digital version that was given for free. Back in 2016-17 I helped a friend redeem his hard copy using the code provided with the CDs and it worked just fine, no need for advisor. The way I see is: Advisor are unaware that can be redeemed, or are unwilling to help, or in the most absurd way: there is a policy regarding redeeming old games.

@WatDaFrag @Lunelli_98 Our older games are not supported in Origin anymore such as Battlefield 1942, Vietnamne, Battlefield 2, and Battlefield 2142. Meaning you wont be able to redeem the codes for them.
A while back you could contact EA support and show them your code and it will be added to your library but it's not something that EA Support can help with.
/Atic Will old classics such as BF 1942 and Vietnam be added in the future? I'm pretty sure there would be overwhelming support of this among BF fans all over.
- @NorseTroll BF 1942 can be added if you have the original key. It can be added because in 2012 they made a digital version to celebrate the 10th annyversary of the Battlefield series. However, they did not made a digital version of its expansions packs and the same goes for BF Vietnam from 2004. I dont remember exactly but i think there is a work-around to play the expansions packs using the Origin version
No, I did try. The BF1942 key's format is xxx-xxxxxxx-xxxxxxx-xxxx (x=digits), while the apparently desired format asked for was xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx. My key was not accepted, neither with or without the "-" between the digits. Any idea why?
I even tried the same with the key for "road to rome" which was listed underneath the 1942 key.

@NorseTroll Nothing to share at this stage.
To get older Battlefield games to the modern systems will take a lot of work also dust of old code.
/Atic any update?

None. I stopped trying. It's been two years now probably
