@AdamsWraith If you play a multiplayer round of Battlefield Bad Company 1, Bad Company 2, Battlefield 4, or Hardline on your PS3 (it only has to be one of these games not all) on your account that is currently linked with Battlelog that you currently play BF3 with you will receive a Veteran Status of "1" which will unlock the following veteran items for you in all of these Battlefield games:

Bad Company 1 - the F2000 assault rifle

Bad Company 2 - the M1 Garand rifle

Battlefield 3 - The M1911, the M1911 Suppressed, the M1911 Tactical

Battlefield 4 - the ACB90 knife, the veteran dog tag, veteran camo, 3 x scope for the .44 magnum

Hardline - veteran patch and two in game times boosts

Battlefield 1 - veteran dog tag

@AdamsWraith If you already have a copy of Battlefield 4 just play a round of multiplayer, and then you will unlock the M1911 in Battlefield 3.  After playing the round of BF4 you will also receive a veteran battlepack in Battlefield 4 that contains the ACB90 knife, veteran camouflage, veteran dog tag, and the 3x scope for the .44 magnum.  If you wish to use the M1911 in Battlefield 4 you must get kills with pistols which will unlock additional pistols along the way.  The M1911 will be the 6th pistol that you unlock in BF4.  You can expedite this process by joining pistol only servers in BF4 or purchasing the pistol shortcut unlock in the PSN store.

You got it @AdamsWraith! That's exactly how the process normally works. If you experience any issues with it not unlocking come back here and I can provide a process to contact customer support and they can add the appropriate entitlement manually.

@AdamsWraith I see above that you said in BF4 you now have the veteran items so the M1911 in BF3 should be unlocked in your inventory under pistols the next time that you play BF3.

@AdamsWraith I just checked your Battlelog profile and you are correct. If you haven't played BF3 yet after playing BF4 yesterday that is the issue and playing a round of BF3 multiplayer will sync your BF3 solider with the EA servers giving you the veteran entitlement and unlocking the M1911 for you.

If you've already played BF3 since your last BF4 match where the veteran items unlocked you'll need to contact a Game Advisor at  EA Customer Support and he or she will be able to add the proper entitlement to your Battlelog account.

You can reach a game advisor here:  https://help.ea.com/contact-us click on the orange button on the right to start a new case, follow the instructions and when you are presented with a contact method I recommend that you use the telephone option and the “call me” option so you don't have to stay on hold for a long time. The call back feature available to North America, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Slovakia, Switzerland, and the UK.

@AdamsWraith I just checked your Battlelog profile and I see that they added all of the veteran statuses and now the M1911 is unlocked as it should be.  http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/soldier/ULTRA_GIRL-XOXO/weapons/1765863149/ps3/  Are you able to access it in game now?  Please note that the M1911S-TAC is only unlockable via the expansion assignment "All about precision" from the End Game expansion. So until that assignment is completed you will have access to the M1911, M1911 Suppressed, and M1911 tactical.

I am having the same issue ive tried to put in an error report to ea. i havent heard anything as of yet been several days. i have uninsalled and reinstalled. which in turn has reset my event. so in trying everything i can (followed many if not all sugestions on this and other threads) im getting really pissed of i have no idea how to fix this issue.
