When you go in-game and look to the top right, does it say "Premium pass" under the Battlefield 1 logo there ? If so, it does detect it, but the content doesn't register right.

If there is no "Premium pass" text at all at the top right, it means it isn't detecting it at all. In such a case, are you sure that your Xbox Gamertag and EA Account are linked to each other properly and that you are not using a sub account but a main one ? https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/linking-your-origin-account-with-your-psn-id-and-gamertag/
